It Broke Like an Egg.

So. Today is the day that my big brother moves to a different country.

He's moving down to San Francisco. I've been there a couple of times. It smells really nice and the hills are good for your calves. Also, it's warm. And it's going to be great. He is going to be very happy, even though he will miss me really a lot. And it's going to be great.

The real sad news today is this:

My brother? He'll be back. My mug? Gone forever.

  1. Oooooh. That WAS a good one. I'm sorry for your loss.

And safe travels to your bro!

    1. It was the perfect tea mug - fit perfectly into the curve of my hand. :(

He's already arrived, safe and sound and landed a second interview for a really great job!

  2. Oh no! That's terrible. What a beautiful mug. I hope you give it a proper burial. Oh, and I hope your brother does well in his new country.

    1. Wasn't it though? It reminded me of a stormy sky, just the kind of weather you need cup of tea for. It's still sitting on the counter. I'm trying to come up with something I can do with it. It seems wrong to just throw it out.

Thanks. :) He's off to a great start!

  3. Did your brother break it? If so, good riddance to him.

  4. Glue it together and use it for pencils. I'll get you another one at the craft show, and you can pick it this time
